VOLUNTEERING

Please click on the buttons below for more information about different activities that we run and the various volunteering opportunities available.

We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees and help shape the future of Black Isle Cares. BIC offers a range of services and activities aimed at reducing social isolation and loneliness in rural Black Isle communities. As a trustee, you’ll support our mission, contribute to strategic decisions and help ensure good governance. No prior experience is needed - just a commitment to our community and a passion for supporting vulnerable people. A working knowledge or professional background in organisational governance (such as finances, policies and staff management) would be advantageous but is not essential.

The trustee role is flexible and involves a time commitment of minimum 3 hours per month. Board meetings are held bi-monthly and trustees are expected to represent the Board at BIC events where possible.

If you care about the wellbeing of our Black Isle communities and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
