Meals at Home

"Just a quick note from Dad and I to say that the meals on wheels service is fabulous. The meals are generously portioned and the quality extremely high. Compliments to all involved".

Through our "Meals at Home" service, our dedicated team of friendly volunteers deliver meals up to 3 times a week across our community. All meals are freshly-made by our local outlets.

Our service

Black Isle Cares provide a Meals at Home service serving the Black Isle area. We currently charge £2.50 for soup, £3.00 for a dessert and £4.00 for a main meal. Fish and chips cost £5.50. These prices match the amounts charged to Black Isle Cares by our meal providers and there is therefore no profit element included in our charges. Meals are delivered chilled.
Our delivery volunteers are friendly and helpful, have all been trained and are members of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
Around 40 people are currently receiving Meals at Home deliveries up to three times a week. We know there are many others on the Black Isle who would appreciate both the tasty food and the volunteer delivery. Please let friends, family and neighbours know about the Meals at Home Service.
