Intergenerational activities

We run a number of intergenerational activities - such as board game afternoons, lunches and carol services. These are a great opportunity for older and younger people in the community to build links, learn about each other and have some fun!

Board game afternoons currently take place on Thursdays during school term time from 2-3:30pm in the Fortrose Library.

MIX & MINGLE

On Thursday afternoons during school term time, Fortrose Academy students, BIC volunteers and senior citizens have been made very welcome by Fortrose Library staff to have fun with different activities whilst in great company.
Folks from different parts of the community have got to know each other and enjoy a cuppa together. People from the age of 13 up to 94 attend.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and all age groups get on famously, learning about each other's lives both past and present. Competition ranges from fierce to very, very relaxed indeed!
